Farid Rahmouni. Magnetic Bodies Song: Hän(ellä) on, 2017–2018

We invite you to see the works of choreographer and dancer Farid Ayelem Rahmouni, the culmination of four months of research at RaumArs A-i-R he presents several pieces to the community.

There will be a presentation of acrobatic dance and digital art followed by a film made in collaboration with pupils of Syvärauma School, and finally an interactive installation where the audience will be encouraged to move and participate. Welcome!

During the residency Rahmouni has also worked with Rauma Aesthetic Gymnast and Rauma Dance School (Turun Seudun Tanssioppilaitos/Rauma) devotees.

What I am is what I own?
What I own determined who I am?
And if we let our bodies decide?

What is hidden?
What is visible?

It's as if the world is turning upside down ...
If what I saw was not real.
Just a creation of what is cultural to me.

Children make democracy and tyranny.
Who cheats wins?
Or not.

And you? Will you have fun?
Who hides behind those bodies that are moving away and getting closer.
Who will dare to play the bodies magnetic's song?!
